MadisonAn avid music fan and a frenzied experimenter since her early years, Long Island, New York's Madison Elle Beer started posting videos of herself singing covers of some well-known tracks as a 13-year-old in 2012. Justin Bieber, a pop idol, found her rendition of Etta's "At Last" within a couple of months, and shared the song with his more than 25 million fans on Twitter. The coverage led to her signing a contract with a record label at Island Records, and then a management agreement with Bieber's manager. The same year, Beer was also cast as a minor character in the film of independent filmmakers Louder Than Words, which featured David Duchovny and made its film festival premiere late in 2013. The debut single she released"Melodies," a melismatic, poppy track "Melodies," also saw the light of day in the latter part of that year.Beer's vocals were first heard on other artists' songs such as Cody Simpson's "Valentine" and the 2015 club track "I I'm Not letting You Walk Away" by Mako. Her solo debut album was released in the year following. debut EP, As She Pleases, in the year 2018. The lead single "Home with You" landed in the Top 30 in Norway, while the EP reached the top half of the Billboard 200. The same year, Beer issued the non-album single "Hurts Like Hell" featuring Offset.
