Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester (born Leighton Meester) is an American model and singer. She is known as "Blair Waldorf" in the drama television show titled "Gossip Girl". Her career in acting began as when she was a young girl. As a child, she was featured in a local stage production of "Wizard of OZ," following which her interest in acting was heightened. At first when she was a model, she made her debut by appearing in advertisements and modeling. In her modelling assignments she was associated with major brands like "Herbal Essences," "Vera Wang," "Jimmy Choo," and Ralph Lauren. Even though she started out her career as an actor, she started out as a model. Her first acting gig was on the popular television show 'Law & Order'. She has since been featured in a variety of television and feature films such as 'CountryStrong", "Monte-Carlo" and 'Killer Movie'. She's composed and recorded tracks with famous musicians including 'Cobra Starship', Robin Thicke and others. Her songs have been listed as 'Billboard Top Hits.'
