Shannyn was the lead as a lead actress in Wristcutters A Love Story A Love Story, a black indie romantic comedy. It was nominated for several awards, including the Sundance Festival's Grand Jury Prize, two Independent Spirit Awards, as well as the Humanitas Prize. Then she appeared on The Holiday, Dirt on FX, and Catacombs. She was also able to participate in CBS the vampire show Moonlight as the main character Coraline Duvall.
